Daughter's Tranquil Inspirations - My daughter looked at me over some flowers and so I kept asking her to look at me in the same way as she walked through so that I could paint her. I used Derwent pencils and I also made paint out of the pencils and painted the surface. I appliqued flowers and then stitched the eyes and eyebrows, hair and flowers etc. I took the flowers over the edge. The eyes are quite a good likeness. I had fun.
