VWelsh Catena - When dyeing my gradient fabrics I use some strips of other fabric in the process. I call those strips my "waste" fabrics but they have become my favorite fabrics to work with. This quilt was made entirely with those waste fabrics. It's quilted in overlapping spirals using 11 different colors of Superior So Fine! thread. The back is hand dyed grays and black.
