quiltmistress Dream flowers - I tried needle turn applique for the first time and it was a trial piece. I was pleased with how it turned out. Went ahead and machine quilted for the first time the centre( in the ditch also) and did my best. After seeing Sharon Pedersons technique of adding on borders to an already quilted piece i did just that. I also added piping to it. I hand quilted the border. Now it is a completed wall hanging.
