Ninasmyangel Tribute to my daughter Nina - My 17 year old daughter was killed in a Ford Explorer accident she was thrown out of the vehicle when it rolled she was with friends going on a picnic. It took me 10 long years to make as it was an emotional journey, I used her T-shirts and printed pics of her and her brother. She loved butterflies and purple so the fabrics I used around the shirts and pics were small pieces of many different butterfly fabrics. I still have to do the binding. I had it quilts by a lady named Karen Niemi she quilted butterflies flying all over the quilt. I hope one day to give it to her brother as a keepsake of his sister. I could not throw her clothes so being a quilter it was the only solution. It was hard to put together as its very busy with so many different types of clothes, I hope she likes what I did. I guess it took so long to make as I kept thinking I would find better ways to make it. Also, it was the last thing I could do to keep her memory. I encourage people to do this if they have lost a loved one.
