Seahorse Serendipity - I started this quilt at a two-day workshop in Maine with the fiber artist, Susan Carlson. For the applique, the fabric pieces were glued in place. After piecing it and sandwiching it together, I covered the surface with a sparkly tulle and heavily quilted it with invisible thread.
