Design Source - Description | This is a 100% wool quilt made from wool garments purchased at the Goodwill stores. I did buy wool yardage for the borders. This is a gift for my husband: because he asked for a wool quilt. Backing and binding will be a black flannel with a narrow red pinstripe running through it. I will quilt it with a large crosshatch and make a medallion design in the center 4 patch areas surrounded by the gray pieces. Red border will have the same medallion design - maybe a sunburst - and final black border will be a 1" crosshatch. |
