Japanese Ladies & Koi Fish

Japanese Ladies & Koi Fish - It is the 90th anniversary of Janome Sewing machines this year so I decided to make a Japanese themed quilt to celebrate. I used 2 panels of Japanese ladies as well as 2 embroidered blocks - Koi fish - from the Janome Osawa Collection of Fish embroidery designs. The central full length lady is trapunto quilting, rest is all ditch quilting and free motion. Everything has been done by machine: embroidery, piecing & quilting. And , goes without saying, on Janome sewing machines!
