MaryRinWI Joseph's Coat - Our local community theater is doing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this summer, and both DH and I have parts in it. Kayce is our choreographer, who rehearsed with us on Monday night and had her first child, a girl named Phoenix, on Tuesday afternoon! This quilt is based on the show's logo, which includes the 6-color rainbow that you see here. I used 180 different fabrics from my stash in the rainbow, and the quilting consists of the 29 "color" words in the song about the coat, and the names of Jacob and his 12 sons, in variegated threads. It is backed with hot-pink minkee. Kayce will receive the gift from the cast next week - I hope she likes it!
