sewtrust Carolyn's Village - This wallhanging was the start of my introducing machine embroidery into my quilting projects. The cottages were digitised by Carolyndesigns a dear friend from the USA. I was testing these design for her, this wallhanging was completely designed by me with these machine embroidery designs, I was able to use hand applique for the background and machine embroidery machine quilting to achieve this project. It has some lovely metallic threads from the windows so looks lovely under a light at night.
