dwynette Rory and Marley's Wedding Quilt - I actually made this quilt twice. The first time I had a comedy of errors in which a fabric ran, I washed the quilt, there were runs everywhere, and I tried to remove the runs, which resulted in much of the color also being removed. This second time, I decided I wanted more bright oranges and bright greens (the 2 colors my son had requested), and I chose to make my first scalloped border. I am very pleased with the project. It is in the Omaha Quilters Guild show and I should know how it did later today (2nd place!). Once I receive it back, I am considering painting inside the quilted flowers on the border and on the back. ....we'll see!
