seacoastquilter Horse Chestnut - This horse chestnut tree was on an empty lot in Portsmouth's South End that my husband's family owned. It was cut down to build a house on the lot. I used a couple photos and combined and edited them in Photoshop to create the collage. I printed it on a large piece of cotton lawn, and printed a single tree on silk organza. I like the effect of the background showing through the single tree.
