savblancgirl Dizzy Geese See Stars - I made this quilt after starting to make a whole quilt of the small star blocks in the outer border. I soon tired of this, and the idea of this quilt developed. I saw the idea for the centre blocks in a Great American Quilts book from the library and adapted it to fit my scheme by adding different sashings and the centre star. This is the first quilt I have quilted with freeform feathers, after watching the machine quilting lessons on this site.
