Design Source - Description |
My husband, Bill, likes to photograph light houses. For our 20th anniv. we spent the weekend in the keeper's cottage of the one in the center. I learned a technique for turning photos into applique. There are no fusibles. The photo is traced onto muslin. I finished it in time for our 25th anniv. All blocks are from his photos. I am entering it into my guild's quilt show, which is in May. Quilted by me on my regular Viking. Also entered into the Genesee Valley quilt fest show, a show with 600 quilts. It won Judges Choice. It was the favorite of Cyntjia England. I am so honored and thrilled that I also won $100! |
