Design Source - Description | My friend Ro gave me a bunch of batik fat quarters and black fabric and said "make a quilt for me out of this". It took me a while to figure out how to use the fabric in the best way, but finally decided to group the colors together, make Rail Fence blocks and separate the color groups with the black fabric. Whew! For the back I used a cute fabric called "Pirate Princess" that is a purple color with black cute skull and crossbones (Ro is into that!). She loves the quilt and took it to the hospital with her a couple of weeks ago when she had her second child!! :) |
