Core Inferno
Core Inferno - I took this class with Ruth Blanchette on Quilt University. Of course, I am still in the 'mind frame' of bed sized quilts, so enlarged this using Bali Squares to border it out. I did free motion quilting with flames in the black border and Aztec suns in the bali squares. The center bargello was quilted to accent to movement of the bargello itself. Presented to my nephew and his new wife on the occasion of their wedding.
