joytoquilt A Quodlibet for Winter - The biggest challenge in making this quilt was in finding 11 each of assorted dark and light batiks that "played well together." Solid black is used as sashing, borders and in some of the blocks. Of all the quilts I have made, this is probably my favorite. It was accepted in the 2010 Wisconsin Quilt Expo, my first quilt in a juried show. In case you're wondering, a quodlibet is a "whimsical combination of familiar melodies."
