Life, From the Ground Up - I truly struggled with this quilt. Sometimes, I didn't know where it was headed or how to solve the next challenge. Whether it was machine tension, the air lift platform mechanism moving the machine up and down while I tried to stitch, running out of fabric or thread, or having a discussion with my cat as to the wisdom of smacking at the machine needle while I tried to stitch. It is my first ever entry into a quilt show. Last year, after the trials and tribulations of a dear, loved one, I decided that some risks were worth taking. Among them, was putting my quilts out there, not being afraid to do that, learning what I can from taking this risk. Any suggestions on the name for this quilt would be welcome. I can see the errors in my quilt, but I learned a lot from making it.
