Nebraska to Alaska

Nebraska to Alaska - This is a small wall quilt I made for my daughter based on one of her favorite photos that she took on her move to AK in 2008. She drove her truck from NE to Washington and then took the ferry to Haines and then drove the last 750 miles to Anchorage. The quilt is fused with thread painting. I gave dimension to the hiking boots by making actual laces.
