jayardi Simply Glowing - Only GREEN fabrics were used. Quite a few were donated by friends to help get a wide variety. There are over 300 different fabrics. Then it took over a month to organize them all into value order. The border is all individually hand cut leaves from pre-printed leaf fabrics then raw edge appliqued, based on a photo I saw of the blended borders technique. Free motion quilted on my Sapphire echoing the border and and a few leaf motifs. Which gives it the feel of swirling leaves.
