Design Source - Description | The Prospect Park collection by Benartex has 3 focus fabrics to incorporate into a design. I decided to make simple columns with a pieced block running up and down the center and flying geese on each side, alternated with the focus fabrics. For the borders I used one focus fabric on the sides and another on the top and bottom. I learned this method of adding borders from my sister, Janet Houts, who will do anything to avoid a mitered corner. I love the borders and you will be seeing more borders like this in the future. So easy! Contact me, jeanannquilts@gmail.com if you are interested in the pattern. |
