tangloak Peppers - I wanted to try using a photo, printed on fabric, and our guild had a color challenge...so this quilt is the result. The photo was a terrific range of greens of many different peppers from my garden...my printer chose to print in very DIFFERENT shades-mostly Yellow! Well - it still looks fine. I also tried Mctavishing in the quilting (I was lucky enough to be able to attend a wonderful lecture given by Karen M.) and that was a success! I first tried freemotion quilting about 2 years ago - it was a disaster! I have since tried on and off...taken workshops, watched lots of videos, read many books...and with practice-I am finally seeing some improvement in my quilting! I'm very happy with the results.
