| Design Source - Description | Madison's paternal great-grandmother (now deceased) made the blocks for this quilt in the 1960's or 70's. I was fortunate to find her UFO's before she got rid of them. I added the sashing and border and quilting. I've made quilts for each of her now 3 great grandchildren from the blocks. (I'm their maternal great-aunt) It's a wonderful way for all of us to remember a much beloved woman, Mary Emma Stevens. |
