paulaj Pearl of the Dragon - I saw a photo of a dragon in a book years ago and saved it. I finally decided to enlarge it to incorporate it into a king size quilt I was making for my bed. The quilt also uses the "Strips and Curves" technique developed by Louisa Smith. The designs around the perimeter are Japanese family crests I adapted for applique.
