Design Source - Description | This is a totally original design that I drew on freezer paper and hand appliqued to the green fabric and then to the blue background fabric. The purple, green, and binding fabrics are hand-dyed fabric by Ricky Tims. It was my first attempt at machine trapunto feathers. The lessons I learned from this quilt are numerous, mostly that I have a lot to learn on how to do certain techniques properly. I had trouble naming this quilt so I posted it on Facebook and my FB friends came up with the name. What an adventure! |
