Design Source - Description | I collected interesting fabric from all over - some as far north as South Dakota and then constructed this quilt for our youngest daughter, Kelley. She was a winemaker for E&J Gallo in Livingston CA for awhile and gave it up to come home to Texas and marry her high school sweetheart. The quilt name represents not only some of the batik fabric, but also, one of the wines she made was bottled under the label of "Turning Leaf". The border reminds me of some of the beautiful rows of grapevines in the many vineyards in California. |
