she-quilts Pieceful Nights - I completed the 12 surrounding blocks as part of the 2008 BOM at my LQS. I then added the medallion center as the pattern suggested. The outer border is one I added to increase the size of the quilt and to give more quilting room. :) There is a lot of mitering here and I love that! I had the top assembled by Feb 2009 but with both kids graduating from high school & college that May, I didn't quilt it until that summer and finished the binding in time for our local show in the fall of 09. I quilted this on my Bernina 200 using Superior Rainbow thread. The borders and setting triangles are free-motion quilted. My first thought was that I'd give this to our son as he graduated from high school in 2009 but he said he didn't want it. : Maybe someone will love it later!! :)
