Design Source - Description | I have always used patterns in making quilts. Since being at a quilt store with a friend and saw someone explaining the disapearing 9 patch block, I knew I wanted to make a quilt using that block. It was a lot of fun. I made the blocks out of scraps of childrens fabric and some solids and dots. etc... Took me awhile to decide what to do, but because the blocks were so bold and busy I set them in a calmer sashing. I think the borders bring out the primary colors in the quilt. I was pleased with the result. |
