dlquilter Storm Over The Mountains - This is a framed picture quilt made as a gift after I went to La Veta for Retreat in 2008. I used one of my photos of the Spanish Peaks for the shaping of the mountains. I do love looking at these mountains. They take my breath away. I used a lot of thread painting and just kept layering until I got the look I wanted.
