mslibra Just Feeling a Little Blue - My Guild, Timberland Quilter's Guild, 2010 Paint Chip Challenge. I received a blue paint chip and decided to play off the word "blue". I took a picture of my hand, copied it onto the fabric and coloured it with water soluble pencil crayons. The hand is trapunto'd and I did a variety of background fills around it including a large 'pebble' under one finger that I painted blue. A sleeve from a thrift store shirt finished off the wrist area and the project was complete for a total cost of $3!
