Design Source - Description | "As the Crow Flies", incorporates traditional blocks and original crow designs. I used applique and paper piecing techniques. I am trying to learn as much as possible. I like using symbolism in my designs. This one has the crows and geese flying in all directions and has the marine's compass blocks to point the way. I also used four colors representing the four seasons. I had a wonderful time creating this quilt and it shows that I have a lot to learn! |
