Design Source - Description | Made for my daugher for college graduation, I used a striped fabric, layered 4 strips stack and whack style and cut 4 identical triangles. I sewed together to form 9", 6", an 3" blocks. The idea came from a quilt design by Kaffe Fassett, however his method did not stack and whack, just used various striped tickings. I thought it would be fun to try....Colors were wonderful as she attends college where the redwoods meet the ocean as represented in the colors of the quilt. |
