Musicmaker Betty's Bag - Based on a photo I purchased, and then got permission from the photographer, this quilt languished unfinished for an entire year. I hadn't done much with such an uncolorful palette before, and couldn't get going on it. Betty's birthday came and went, and no purse. The following year, as her birthday approached, I'd already printed the photo out on fabric, and I had the threads in the right colors. I just jumped in and did it, and am way beyond thrilled with the result - it was a real encouragement to me to continue with similar color palettes.
