Aimee - This is a quilt of my daughter Aimee. While at the International Chicago Quilt Show in April of 2008, I took a class with Tammie Bowser who thought the technique of taking a photo, using a computer to create a graph and using that graph to reproduce the picture as a quilt. It's almost like paint by number using fabric as the paint. Color value is extremely important when using this technique. I found the technique extremely forgiving. Every quilt made using this technique becomes an original. The most difficult part is choosing the right photo!
