Design Source - Description | This is a free quilted and embroided mini quilt. I followed a workshop with the America quilter Mary L. Hackett, when she stayed in The Netherlands. She inspired me a lot. A lovely lady who wants to share her knowledge. I made this postcard for a fibermail swap. The theme was "landscape" and immediately I wanted to make a tree in this style. And I love it. The first tree I made for the swap, but I wanted to make one for my own as well. And you never me two exactly the same. It is made of cotton and tulle. And free embroidery for the little twigs. |
