etafrica Flower Fairies for Leila - I used the Flower fairies fabric print panels to make this quilt for a special little girl: Leila in Cape Town, South Africa - my little 3 year old niece who I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting & hugging. I cut up the little flower fairy panels and arranged them around the big central Laburnum fairy. I added pale green fabric for the background and yellow & dark green as accents. Quilt is machine pieced and quilted: free motion stippling + stitching in the ditch. Much joy & love went into the making of this quilt: "May the Flower fairies keep you warm at night and sprinkle pixie dust of hope & happiness over you as you sleep".
