LauraBC Sleeping under the Stars - I wanted a navy and orange quilt for our bedroom, and after seeing Alex Anderson's method for Lemoyne stars new I wanted to try it out. The design is not what I originally had intended, as I made the Lemoyne blocks 12" and accidentally made the friendship star blocks 9", so I had to do some revamping. It's done with a wool batting, which was a first for me and it was wonderful to work with and is very lightweight and warm.
