jesshudson Kaaren's Celtic Flower Medallion - I wanted to make a quilt with both Celtic knotwork and a flower focal point. I hand-painted the design and really began to explore machine quilting on this piece. As I worked on it, the quilt became a favorite of my aunt. She passed away, so it was a while before I could pick it up again and complete it. It is finally finished today on Christmas Day and for that and the memories I am glad.
