kgill LOVELY STARS AND RECTANGLES - This is my very 1st quilt. It is such a lovely design that shows off the star block. It is a great little table topper if you didn't want it as a wall hanging. The quilt design is in a book called Quilting from start to finish by Katherine Guerrier. The actual quilt in the book needed a flying geese border after the triangles but being my 1st quilt I didn't want it to big so I stopped it at the triangle border. I machine quilted the quilt on my sewing machine, it was quilted in the ditch around all the borders.
