Hollysst Taylors Christmas Quilt - I had clipped a photo of a quilt in a magazine of a very similar pattern & color. I'm normally a traditional quilt maker but this one appealed to me & hoped in the future I would have a need to make something similar. Well, this fall my stepgrandaughter requested a new quilt. She's 11yrs old & likes the color blue. She is also quite the baseball player. This pattern instantly came to mind. The original inspiration showed circles appliqued on all the blocks. But I'm currently having issues w/carpal tunnel syndrome & decided to modify it to just a few appliqued circles. Hopefully she'll enjoy her new quilt.
