Design Source - Description |
I took a technique class, using the wedge ruler, from my local quilt shop. In the class I learned to create wedges and turn them in any direction I wanted. After trying many twists and turns, i came upon the one I liked best. It reminded me of a path through a park that I had walked as a child. My mother called that path "The Esplanade" , therefore the name. It was displayed at our guild's exhibit in Homestead and was one of the quilts shown on the flyer to advertise the exhibit. It hangs on the wall in my livingroom. I am very proud of the machine quilting on it as I did it on my home sewing machine. |
