elykpr 2009 Challenge - Our Guild Challenge was Black & White & 1 other color (my 3rd color turned out to be gray). You could use white on black & black on white but the 3rd color had to be tone on tone with no other colors (no black or white) & had to read solid from a distance. We also had to use the 'Twist & Turn' technique for each block with at least 2 twists. The quilt also had to have applique on it. I used the 'Give & Take Applique' technique learned watching The Quilt Show (sorry, I don't remember the episode # right now) & drew my own pattern.
