Barbiedoll Let The Good Times Roll - This quilt was made for one of the members of our Girls Nite Out group that have been friends for over 27 years. Last year we found out the youngest member of our group had cancer of the liver. I decided to make her a memory quilt using photos of some of our events that had taken place over the years. I asked each of the girls to write a message of encouragement (love) that I incorporated on the back of the quilt. On the front I used photo transfer squares for the center of the stars. We wanted our friend to wrap herself in the quilt and feel the love we felt for her during her recovery process. I don't know if the quilt made any difference but I am so happy to report that the latest news is very encouraging.
