Design Source - Description | I started this quilt 20 years ago, after accumulating lots of leftover strips from all the Eleanor Burns quilts I had made. The pattern was demonstrated in one of my local guild meetings. Over the years, as I acquired more scraps, I would make another block until finally I had enough for a small quilt. I always thought the blocks were a bit wonky so I never finished the quilt. Last week I spent a few days learning to use a long arm and this was the quilt top I practiced on. Now that it's actually finished, I must say it's growing on me. What's even crazier is that I was able to find enough of the green fabric in my stash to make the binding! I hope this inspires you to finish one of the UFO's in your closet. |
