donnagayle Hannah's Quilt - My cousin Dillie Tyus has cancer and is trying to make all her kids and grandkids a quilt. She had one more to make and just can't sit for that long anymore. She was concerned that this quilt might not be made and she wanted them each to have a quilt from her. I told her I would make it for her. It's just a typical string quilt. Dillie started teaching her granddaughter, Hannah, to make a block and she completed one. I embroidered on that block the fact that Hannah had made that block when she was 10 years old. They received the block on 9/9/09. Dillie is now trying to decide if she should show her granddaughter the quilt or have her mother give it to her on her wedding day. So glad I was able to help Dillie fulfill her dream.
