CSQPatti Henry - These applique blocks are from Ellen Hecks applique patterns. It is not finished yet but will be real soon. It has taken two years to finish the hand appliqued blocks, I just need to sew them together! I used a background of hand dyed fabric in a dark navy blue with a photo impression of leaves in the background. I think it added a lot on interest to the overall design.
