QuiltfireStudios Affairs of the Heart - I first found this book on a website while surfing on the web. To my amazement, the author lived in my home town. So I called her up and went to her house to pick up two copies, one for myself and one for a friend. Around two months or so after I had purchased the book, this was offered as a block of the month at my local quilt shop. Of course, I jumped on board! I didn't do it with needleturn applique like Aie Rossman (the designer) did because I detest hand sewing. I did very little quilting on it because I didn't want to take away from the spectacular design.
