Mamaroo Scrappy Cats and Dogs - This baby quilt was for my great nephew. I'd machine embroidered the applique cats and dogs (JuJu Designs set) and since I used so many different colors I got out my scrap box and randomly cut strips and just sewed a few strips together throwing in a cat or dog block with no plan in mind. Then I used a Navy print for sashing and backing to endure the dirt and abuse a baby boy may inflict upon the quilt. Was VERY easy, fast and fun to make. Plus used up alot of my scraps or what I refer to a "Free Fabric". I free motion quilted with large stippling.
