katherinequilts California Baby - I took classes using the techniques in Alex Anderson's Keep Quilting. When our CA daughter had a baby I thought this pattern might work for the materials she picked. The fabrics were really difficult for me to work with and I bought many added fabrics to try to make it work. It's one of the most expensive quilts I've made because I made so many changes! The backing is minky. It's a good thing bright colors are nice for babies ! (I made California Baby II with just some of the leftovers and fabrics I couldn't use)
