Kymbo Milly's butterfly chase - I asked my youngest daughter to pick a quilt out of one of my magazines....( I have a few : ) she chose this one. I almost thought about trying to discourage her as it was a bit scary, but I thought I would give it a go. I changed the 4 middle block to applique as the original design was pieced with the same pattern continually. I also added some extra applique butterflys randomly on the quilt.. the quilting also reflecting the path of butterflies with the random design. My daughter slees with it every night and still spends many days chasing butterflies. I love it and hope yo will to.
