Design Source - Description | My long-time friend Bill is a fine carpenter who makes extraordinarily decorative birdhouses. We bartered a quilt for a birdhouse. The birdboxes quilt pattern was a natural choice, and its name captures both the trade and the joy of old friends. I modified the pattern to use round doors rather than the pattern's squares. It is heavily quilted with a different filler pattern for each box. |
